America what's really going on!

Let me start out by saying I love this country and all of it's freedoms however; we seem to have gotten it twisted! Let me explain. In the media there are news flashes all about the Olympics of 2016 and how the president has somehow lost his glitter, or that his star doesn't shine as brightly as it once did or some non-sense like that.! All because the USA wasn't awarded this opportunity . And even though this same man in his capacity as the leader of the free world, has made significant strides towards an agreement or at least talks along those line with Iran , in reference too agreeing on allowing the united nations organization to inspects their nuclear program, and for Russia to handle the enrichment of their uranium, has garnished little or no attention at all. What's wrong with this picture America.? I mean with everything that is going on under this Presidents watch, I think the head lines should read: Another history making event in the short 10months of the Obama Presidency.! Who else can claim the honor of achieving such accomplishments like Health care reform legislation, & Peace talks between the Palestinians & Israel, . My point is, this has been a year of first: The first Black President & first family, the first Latina appointed to the Supreme court, the first time we are on the course of getting real health care reform legislation passed, the first time for possible peace between Palestine & Israel, talks with Iran, and even the first time the Olympics will be held in Rio. If this is what causes one's starlight to deem, then everyone should strive to dim his or her star, I'm just saying.
