How you like me now!

Let me start out by saying that "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us be glad and rejoice in it". Finally we as Americans have an administration that is working for the whole of the people not just big cooperation's. Yesterday President Obama and his administration made history by passing health care reform legislation. Tomorrow he will sign it into law. Despite all of the nay Sayer's and doubters that swore health care was dead, and the opposition whom I like to refer to as the republicain'ts exaggeration's about Armageddon, government take over of health care, rationing of health care , increasing of premium's , the raising of taxes, death panels along with all of the other miss information ; Nothing worked. When I think back over my fifty years of being on this earth and hearing all of the ridiculous so call facts about the differences between blacks and whites and how many people believed that redderick, It's an overwhelming feeling of pride and joy to be African American at this moment in time. After 100 years and almost every sitting president trying to overhaul our health care system to no avail, it 's ironic that this President a black man with the funny name Barack Hussein Obama achieved this remarkable feat in 14 short months. How you like me now!?. Now all of the tea party's, the beck's of the world and the Limbaugh's have egg all over their faces. All they can do now is sulk. What I am basically saying is ; When God almighty is in control of certain events all the redderick , hatred, misinformation and /or scare tactics will not and can not stop his will. I'm just say! After inheriting the worst economic disaster since the great depression and being fought every step of the way to pass the stimulus package we are now experiencing a slow but steady stabilization of our financial system, thanks to this President's leadership; and now 32 million uninsured and under insured Americans can rest easy knowing that getting sick no longer will result in bankruptcy. I can not wrap my mind around the opposition on this issue except for to think that it must be deeper than the Presidency. Think about it! What I can say is Bravo Mr. President.
