America what's wrong with this picture!

Government just bailed out the big banks and wall street without the consent of fellow Americans. I mean we didn't have a say in the matter. I am just a little frustrated in that I have served my country in both the Navy and the Marines and after falling on hard times, along with some financial problems and a little bumpy credit situation. I cannot get funding for my invention despite my tax dollars bailing out big banks. What's wrong with this picture? I don't mean to dump on this administration, but if we can be there for the banks, why then can't the banks be there for us? I'm not asking for a hand out, my invention is with-in the guidelines of green technology, not only will it benefit all Americans, it will save on the average Americans energy bill, it requires no professional installation, and is battery operated with a rechargeable system, making it economically feasible. I just need a break America. Desperate time calls for desperate measures so , America if you feel the way I do ,then maybe I can tap into your compassionate nature and compel you to assist me in this endeavor. I have been trying to get this prototype done for over a year. my concern is that some one else will come up with a similar design and get it out there before I'm able too.
